We also recommend setting a contingency budget (typically 10-15% of the total cost) for unforeseen issues common in renovation (like unexpected plumbing or wiring behind walls). If an unexpected expense arises or you request a design change, we will issue a formal Change Order for your approval before any additional work is started, ensuring you always maintain control over the budget.

The project timeline depends on the scope, but we provide a realistic detailed schedule with key milestones during the planning phase. We prioritize proactive and transparent communication by assigning a dedicated Project Manager who will be your primary point of contact. They will provide weekly updates (via email, phone, or in-person meeting, based on your preference) and are available to address any questions or concerns that arise, keeping you informed and the project on track.

This is one of the most important questions, and we encourage all clients to ask it. WL Renovation is fully licensed, bonded, and insured for all work we perform in this region. We carry comprehensive General Liability insurance to protect your property and Worker’s Compensation insurance for our entire team and vetted subcontractors. We will happily provide copies of all certificates upon request.
